Personality- Aggressive, Quick-Thinking, Confident, Abrasive Age- Young Adult (23 in human years) Early Life- From a very young age, Aurel has had to fend for herself. Aurel was hatched near the southern border of the Scarred Wasteland. Her parents abandoned her only a few weeks after her hatching; it was such a long time ago, she can’t remember the reasons why… but it doesn’t matter anymore, the outcome was the same. Aurel wandered the Wastes for days and days until meeting and then joining a mercenary gang; this is where she was truly raised. Aurel would say that all her parents ever gave her was her name, but she made her name mean something with the mercenaries. She thrived with them. She learned to hunt. She learned to kill. She spent the rest of her years as an adolescent with them. She built up and honed her physical skills, she felt at home for those years… But it didn’t last. As she matured she realized that there might be more to life than just an end. So, she left on a mission… and never came back. |

After abandoning the gang, Aurel traveled eastward, she hadn’t planned to live in the Tangled Wood, but had always imagined it to be peaceful there. Subconsciously or not, she did make it there and it actually was peaceful, quiet even. Nothing like the droning roars and constant sounds of struggle in the Wastes. Days past and land traveled, Aurel liked the change but she started to feel loneliness settle in. She wasn’t used to being alone for such an extended period of time but she wouldn’t be alone much longer. |

She really felt that she had turned a new leaf. She had love in Sunshine. She adopted a cat for Plague’s sake! But fate had other plans. It was just a regular hunting trip that turned to battle. Nothing out of the ordinary, they deal with that all the time! But maybe it was tiredness, maybe she had gotten sloppy in all of her time here in Shadow but when Aurel leapt to strike, the shade-touched creature bit her. She dispatched it quickly after that but the event had shaken her. She hid the wound from everyone, including Sunshine.
