Current Designation: Containment Engineer
Expertise: Engineering, Blacksmithing, Technology, Combat Magic
Profile: Dr. Kandis is a young engineer, fresh out of trade school. They were scouted by the Foundation for their magical abilities, specifically their mastery of both the Fire and Lightning engineering schools. They design the containment facilities at Bio-unit 049-2. They are not one to socialize much, and prefer the company of machines to that of other drakes.
Since starting work at Bio-unit 049-2, Dr. Kandis has noted in themselves some physiological and magical changes; mainly, their natural Fire magic is increasingly intermingled with Lightning. Kandis doesn't find this particularly alarming, as they have studied Lightning magic enough to channel it, though they do have some concerns over the long-term effects.

Dr. Kandis appears to be undergoing a form of Forced Magical Transition (FMT). Preliminary scans show a distinct deterioration of the flammatory emitters (FEMs), and growth of new electronical emitters (ElEMs) atop the pyroptotic FEMs.
Etiology is unknown at this time, though it is likely that there's a correlation between this unusual FMT case and the leyline activity that I'm researching.
