When a dragon first meets her, Nyphivia can be a bit...unusual. See, when they're initially led into the strange mass of greenery that emerges from the midst of the Starwood Strand, they expect her to simply live in it.

They do not expect her to be part of it.

Within the centre of the emerald-green boughs and monstrous glowing flora is where she lies, bound to the rocks by roots that twist and turn in wild directions. The plants (and by extension, the entire garden) appear to be bursting from her, expanding outwards into the Starwood like a blossoming flower, a sight that can be rather startling to unsuspecting passerby. Nyphivia herself regards those who come to meet her with a distrustful eye, and appears sarcastic and snappy at first; however, if one takes the time to befriend her and perhaps even goes through the trouble (and Vivarin) to visit her regularly, they'll find that underneath her crabby exterior sits a witty and entertaining conversational partner. Just don't expect her to be subtle. She's as blunt as they come.

Can't really blame her for being irritable, though. She hasn't moved in years.
