The Seething Stone Artifact
Trove Guardian's Charge that has the power to boil the ocean around it.
Used to make local Maren leave their business alone.
Is actually a glowing blue crystal that drips water, is warm to the touch, and 'pulses' steadily.
Can take the form of hatchling Skydancer that is consistently sort of wet, as if just pulled out a bath. In spite of this it can still not really move on it's own power.
Wings might flail and claws scrabble on whatever surface is around, but it can not gain lift or do more than scoot a few inches at a time before becoming exhausted.
It likely learned to take this form to make dragons less likely to break it. Or possibly as a way to try and make them want to protect it, feeding off the idea of it being a defenseless child.
Genderless but its Guardian has taken to referring to it as a he, mostly when not in crystal form.
Responds to the will of the one holding it. Actual level of intelligence is unknown.
