There's an old legend among wolves of the Decan clan about an old wolf spirit known as Faewulf that preys upon children that have wandered too far from their dens. Faewulf does not seek to harm the youth that it has found, but it does tend to change them. The members of the Decan clan have been known to interact and offer gifts and in turn, old Faewulf will often leave those that it has found in their care.
Faewulf is the child of Torwulf and the father of many. In some cases, Faewulf is a grandfatherly figure, not opposed to intervening in some ways. It isn't rare for firstborns to be claimed and raised.
"Wolf Mother" and "banned from the Tesco" have been other titles they have gone by, if only for this description.
