In her youth, an unnatural tolerance for pain was brushed off as mere luck. A penchant for blood was nothing abnormal in a young dragon desperate for attention - and Tartarus was, if anything, a hog for the spotlight. When she first left her mother's nest, her mother did not worry - snapper children age so quickly that it was likely that the child, always cold and distant, had simply decided that it was time to leave without warnings or goodbyes.

When the cult emerged, nobody wanted to actually call it a cult. It was more so a collection of female dragons that were giving her the attention she had always wanted; a harem, if anything.

And when they started disappearing under mysterious circumstances, well, wasn't that just coincidence?
