The healer's hands are often the bloodiest, and Intrusive's are bloody indeed. Not all of the blame is on him alone, though; he is an unwilling healer at the best of times. Vampires are resilient, and unless a wound is grave enough to kill, they heal themselves swiftly. But medicinal knowledge is indispensable in the Scarred Wasteland given the diseases that run rampant. So Intrusive most often plies his knowledge in ways to further his knowledge of the various plagues and sicknesses that creep their way across the blighted land. Still, there are times - though few and far between - when he is required to use his hands to heal. Sutures, tinctures, poultices; Intrusive heals hurts reluctantly, though he's been known to...let things run their course from time to time to see what happens. The knowledge he gains is undeniably important, but many of his kin choose to tend to their hurts themselves to avoid further discomfort. Intrusive, though, insists he faithfully serves his Master, Renfeld. Renfeld's involvement in his practices remains to be seen. |
