A new queen was born to Lanoter’s hive. The timing was perfect as Delar, having learned at her mother’s side since she was little, was ready to head out on her own. Delar carefully collected the queen and some of the workers in the beebox she built herself. Now, Delar is ready to find a new home for herself and her bees. She is excited to grow her hives and to begin selling her own honey. Delar enjoys talking with her bees and has even named the queen, “Beelightful.”
