Experiment, Mistakes Were Made

This dragon is not entirely well-made. In fact, it's distinctly gooey and wrong. With too many eyes. The Doc was originally trying to create the perfect dragon. This wasn't his first attempt, nor even his best, but it was his most sentient. Due to his own personal curiosity, the Doc has allowed this experiment to continue with no eminent termination in the foreseeable future. What specifically went wrong has not been made clear, but the intention was to create a dragon with hardened skin and impeccable eye sight that was capable of running on minimal food and sleep. What came out of the experiment was not most of those things, the flesh soft and disturbingly malleable with chunks of hardened growths, eyes all over which all moved independently, and a voracious appetite that had nothing to do with fuel. Sleep doesn't even seem to apply, at least not that anyone's seen. The Doc does not consider him a "failed" experiment, only another step in the right direction.

The many eyes cause confusion for this poor dragon, can't seem to decide where he wants to go if there is not one thing his mind is focused on. He is often clumsy, bumping into walls and counters and other dragons. He is confined to the Doc's laboratory because the dragons in the lair at large have little patience for such a pitiable construct and have threatened to eat him on several occasions. But he often causes destruction within the lab. It's difficult to tell whether he is intentionally disrupting other experiments in the hopes he might cause the creation of another like him, or possibly through some kind of displeasure about his own existence. He may just be accident prone.

Despite the minimal sentience and ability to recognize certain words, this dragon appears incapable of speech, and is rather more like an animal than someone with self-awareness and existential thought. He doesn't seem particularly malignant or cruel, though he also doesn't appear to have any morals whatsoever.
