the ocean was his grave. as he sunk, lower and lower, he knew the water had claimed him. there was no strength left in his aching wings; banescales weren't made for the water. in a moment, he would drown. a cold, lonely, cruel death, lungs burning with the lack of air. as darkness closed in, and his body gave one last final jerk of life, the cold gripped him. and he was gone.
