Biography
"I will carry you, always."
Novo'ahe
Big brother of Pipa'ka, hatched in Wind to two parents who are first generation Banescales (hatched in Fire along with all the other Banescales). He is a second generation Banescale and grew up in Wind. His little sister's egg wouldn't hatch due to residual Ice magic, affecting the eggs just as the eggs locked away had been. So, he traveled all the way from Wind to Fire with the egg (since his parents couldn't make the flight due to...reasons) to bring his sister to the sacred magma that hatched his parents.
Current day: Novo'ahe decided to stay in this clan after hatching his sister due to worry about moving her too far from Fire too soon (the Ice magic resurfacing and claiming his sister is paranoid worry of his). So, through the mix of awed and terrified stares he receives, he works as a farmer (corn? wheat?) in Fulghum's subclan, providing produce to the territory (mostly works by tilling the land/handling heavy machinery that can be strapped to him, since, of course, he's missing thumbs). He hopes to one day move back to Wind to see his parents and show them their new daughter, but for now he remains with her, sending messages to them when he can.
Notes:
- Banescales would have been feeling the Bottleneck Effect (biology) because of their near extinction. There would be possible inbreeding (probable inbreeding) and a weak immune system to certain diseases.

- A lot of FR's canon lore when it comes to Ancients is ignored in my own lore, as it's far too confusing to have all these breeds suddenly coming into existence. Instead, in some cases Ancients are races that the Modern races have evolutionarily branched off from hundreds upon thousands of years ago (Gaolers and Tundras for example), while in other cases the Ancients were just races that were created by the Deities before they created the Moderns (Abberations, Veilspuns, etc.). I also say that evolution occurs much faster on Sornieth than on Earth due to dragons being partially made of magic, so mutations and variations in genetic code happen easier...just so I can say that it didn't take millions of years for things to happen.
- Widely regarded as less sapient/more 'primitive' by the other breeds, Ancients have largely kept to themselves and are quite elusive due to both a dwindling number of their race compared to the Modern races, and also due to being shunned. This narrative is changing though, as more and more Ancients have been seen within Modern settlements, and are being accepted and supported by their Modern counterparts.
- Some dragons believe that Ancients were the Deities' first true children, made when war was all that mattered, and so explaining many of their fearsome/monstrous appearances. In any case, due to many years of prejudice, not much is known of the Ancient races, and what little is known is usually steeped in bias and misinformation. So, they are more than a little mysterious.

Novo (from Novo Amor, a big inspiration for his character, also means 'new' in Latin) Ahe ('softly blowing breeze' in Hawaiian). A new gentle breeze.
