Glorious and handsome Herodion is a popular figure, particularly among the females of his clan. Though he is part of Kubera's warband, his role as a point guardian responsible for warning his fellow warriors of danger ahead, and keeping watch during large battles to make sure they don't get flanked, means he earns alot of recognition (and therefore fame) when the information he provides decides a fight. He is exceedingly successful at his role.

He serves as Jairus' captain, but does not serve in the same close-guarded capacity that Reina does with Jurian. Instead, Herodion flies ahead of his traveling party, and stays overhead during fights to call out danger and enemy movements, leaving Jairus to his own devices. It suits both of the imperial males fine, especially now that Jairus has taken on a squire, Noirin, who can keep close and watch his back while Herodion scouts.

Herodion himself is a likable warrior, in strong contrast to the grumpy, ever-bickering commanders Jairus and Jurian. He does his orders without complaint, and doesn't speak out of turn unless he has good reason to. He's skilled both physically and magically, and has a strong loyalty to Warlord Kubera and Ex-Dominus Ravana. His only vice is that he can at times be a bit bloodthirsty.
