ROLE xxx ■ 4TH OVERLORD || The Entomancer Alchemist || The Madness Unleashed DESCRIPTION xxx Most of his time Madarain spends inside his laboratory, nurturing his "pets" and insects, conducting various... often unpleasant experiments on... stuff. Living stuff mostly. On himself too. Yeah. Seriously though, Madarain is an ancient Entomancer, an incredibly cunning one at that. Entomancers can control many types of insectoids, ally with them and call for their help in time of need. Some live in symbiosis, allowing said insects to use their bodies as a host. However Madarain's power is so overwhelming that each summoned insectoid refuses to infest his body and trembles in fear before it's new master. He offers them a home in his lab instead, which they accept and appreciate the reliable protection. Very few "servants" are actually allowed on his body though, some were seen roaming in his hair during combat. Constantly looking for new ways to empower himself and the other Overlords, Madarain is well versed in alchemy arts which he continues to study. His knowledge about magic is sometimes useful when it comes to preparing defences and mages to battle. When he decides to fight by himself, he is sure to wreak havoc by summoning swarms of vermin. Hardly ever caring about the destruction he caused. |
PERSONALITY
TYPE xxx ■ INTP DESCRIPTION xxx Satisfied with the company of his insectoid friends Madarain shuns people and has very little trust for other dragons. The only true friends he has are the other Overlords whom he's sure he can trust after so many years spent on travelling together. Many describe him as "awkward" when it comes to social interactions. Frequent stress tics, odd silence, staring and a strong, unhealthy passion for science successfully scare away potential friends. Often throwing rude or inappropriate insights and questions make many dragons uneasy around him. On top of that Madarain seems to hate being touched by anyone who isn't a close friend, no poking, no handshaking, no hugs allowed! Madarain himself is known for having absolutely no remorse for any of his actions or... "creations". He doesn't seem to understand the suffering which he inflicts to his experimental subjects. ...Or maybe he does and simply enjoys it? Hundreds if not thousands of scribbled notes on said experiments can be found scattered across Madarain's desk. The contents of most of them remain unknown due to his pets guarding them. His most "successful" creation, Ghudarakan, still roams the clan and acts as a bodyguard for The Nobles, horryfing to some, fascinating to others. Madarain treats him like a child, his beloved creation. |
