The Sea of a Thousand Currents holds many mysteries... and many tears. The waves attract many a broken heart from across Sornieth, a Siren's call to soothe the soul. Crystalia was regarded as rather odd by her family and peers, never quite fitting in like a jigsaw puzzle piece a little warped and out of place. She abhorred getting soot on her scales, and her metalworks would always wind up nonsensical and brittle hunks of worthless slag. Frustrated at her lack of talent, she one day struck out at her anvil... but missed and wound up tipping the forge instead, setting the whole workshop ablaze. The fire was put out without harm, but everyone was of course furious at her. Rather than continue living with her struggles and shame, she fled to a cooler, wetter place to perhaps find a better avenue for her life.

However, not all life change is for ill. The Sea of a Thousand Currents, while a place to drown sorrow, also gathers many of a like mind, leading to unique opportunities. Crystalia slept in the Tsunami Flats for a solid day straight, thankful to be away from the lava cauldron that had been her home. She wandered her new surroundings the next day, curious, but not planning to stay long. She then stumbled on another Bogsneak female similar to herself: Esmeralda. Together, the two of them spilled out their broken hearts to one another. Getting along well, they became fast friends over the next few days. Then, Aurum wandered into their midst. Crystalia was instantly fascinated by him, and both females were delighted to have a true drake who also understood their woes. As a mated trio, the three explored Sornieth and settled upon the Southern Icefield in Clan Pokéfan, where they later adopted in Boulder as well. Crystalia is much happier to now be serving Icewarden, and shares her children with other Flights across the world.
