THE GAME -Well, well, well... what do we have here? That mirror is smiling.. I bet they have some good cards... and that skydancer over here? Ice element, knows our emotions and of course the classic poker face... but they are nervous, I know it. Their face, there is something off about it...yes... they are worried..I'll win this.- A'ight guys here goes the moonstone. - Moonstone? It's not even that rare, I bet you have something better than.. this thing. -Bet something and then we'll see. A mirror looked with their 4 eyes at the table, thinking. Then they grabbed something and put it on the table. Luminous Halo -That's some good stuff you got there. But you? -Wildclaw moved it's head to the Ice dragon- What else do you have? -You said you'll bet after Dusk bets. So bet. -I have something wayyy far more valutable than that, trust me. I'll bet it once you put something good on the table. -No way I am falling for this crap. I know you'll fold after I bet so you bet first. -Fine, if you must.-Shadow dragon pulled something out of his bag and trew it on the table- bet.-tresher's flatfins- He didn't even gave other dragons a chance to raise, he just showed them już cards:4 of a kind. Other dragons also showed their cards:Straight and Full House.- -Well, looks like I won again. HUNT A coral wildclaw slowly moved in the shadows. He knew where he was going-he saw it in his dreams. He knew the moment, he knew the place he knew the dragon, but not the way to get there. He was in light flight, there was no way that someone could see him. It was night and light dragons don't see good in the dark. I already checked every single lair of this clan! Why can't I find that dragon? Maybe it's already dead?-Agares got stuck in thoughts. Then he heard something-dragon steps. He hid his whole body in the shadows, making him impossible to see for a non-shadow dragon. Then a draconic head looked out from a corner-it was his target!-A huge Imperial dragon walked to wall just near him and pressed an well-hidden button, a mysterious passage opened and yellow-ish dragon walked inside. Before the hidden door could close Agares got in. Found shadows once again and hid, then he realised something-it was that room. The room he saw in his dreams. When Imperial looked down at their desk Agares attacked. He knew what to do. He leaped at Imperials neck and used his powerfull claws to strike at their veins, his razor-sharp claws cutted the Imperial scales without any problems and very quickly reached their target. After doing what he had to he jumped off and returned to shadows. He didn't kill the Imperial but... he just waited, the bleed will do It's job. The Imperial didn't even knew what happened to them, they just pressed their claws to their neck just to see a lot of blood. They didn't even had the chance to stop the bleeding, they just lost consciousness and fell on the stone floor. Agares quickly shut off all the lights in the room and walked to the still alive imperial, he pressed his claws to their right horn and began cutting, now in the room could be heard weird sound of bone cutting, it lasted for a while then a loud snap ended it. Agares also cut off their whiskers and finally-head. The head was big and heavy so he wasn't able to carry it all the way to his clan, he took some chains and wraped it around it, then wraped the other end around his back.-Time to go. CONNECTION -You saw it right? You always see everything I see.-Agares spoke from the shadows. -Y...yes father, I saw it.-Alano lowered his head and looked at the ground-Just tell me one thing, why? -You perfectly know why my son. This is my job. -BUT KEEPING PARTS OF DRAGONKIND? ARE YOU INSANE?! -No, of course not. -THEN WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?! -Why? YOU ASK ME WHY? You know very well why. I love this feeling, unnatural things around me bring me joy! I am in pure bliss when I am around dead eyes, broken bones and... -what? Are you even NORMAL? THE HELL, I HAVE NO IDEA WHY DYN LET'S YOU STAY! Agares just looked at his son with a huge smile on his face, it wasn't a smile, but a whole smile. -Of course, what did I expect-He said, still smiling. His eyes dark, yet shining.-Oooh my son.. You are so blind! Then he just walked out from his son's lair, even his own son doesn't understand, the one that sees everything what he is doing, the one that knows how it feels. Maybe he just doesn't want to understand? Well, as long as he didn't stop him from his... "job" it was fine. He walked down the clan's cave territory and passed the dark lairs. This cave system had a lot of space and lairs but most of them weren't ready for dragons to live in, finally he reached his lair. It was in complete darkness, only with some glowing plants on the walls but they didn't really gave any light at all so no one could see what was inside, only shadow dragons could. He walked in and layed down on his bed from dark moss, quickly he fall asleep as he felt something trying to get inside his head... |
