If you should happen upon the misfortune of becoming lost the deep woods, find a place where the moonlight comes to rest on the ground. With some luck, a guide will reach out to lead you to safety.

Little is known about this ancient guide. It is spoken of in old texts, but no information that can be gleaned is any more telling than what was already learned.
It rarely speaks, and when it does, it's voice has been described as soft yet firm, with no easily discernible emotion. It leaves no trace, as ethereal the moonbeams it appears near.
Despite the mystery surrounding it, it has always reliably lead others to safety, and has only ever appeared to those who need it. So if it ever appears before you, heed it's guidance, lest you be lost to the dangers of the forest.
