Biography
The Relic Hunters
The clan's pair of relic hunters have the important task of locating and retrieving anything of interest, particularly magical artifacts and hunting the secrets of the land, for research back in the clan. While they both contribute some of everything, Merlin often finds himself focusing more on the 'locating' aspect, something he takes very seriously. If you were to look up 'Workaholic' in the dictionary, you would find a picture of this dragon right beside it!
Magical markings scarred upon his scales sets Merlin apart for his first, and worst, mistake. In his youth, Merlin had found himself sustaining as a common treasure hunter, until looking into a volatile acquisition set off the magical item. Wounded from the explosion, and exiled for putting his clan at risk, the Imperial was forced to wander the lands by himself. That was, until fate brought him to meet Nimue.
Both hunting for the same artifact as told by local folklore, Merlin had found his way there just as Nimue looked over the smooth stone disk between her talons. It took much back-and-forth arguing, before the two agreed, hesitantly, to put their heads together and puzzle the next piece together with the odd carving they had uncovered.
And, in the depths of the Tangled Wood, they vanished in search, only to find more....
