Jewels are dragons whose color resemble that of a precious gem - Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby or Diamond - and develop powers based on that colours, no matter their original clan or their parentage. Many of them chose to live in Arcane or Light clans to further study their powers and how to control them, but some prefer to go live in exile, afraid of what they may be capable of and hurting their loved ones. Jewels are naturally good at magic but their powers come with the price of technique and finess.
Diamonds are the rarest of the possible Jewels, with powers usually linked to the manipulation of the environment around them, from simple environmental empathy to elemental powers or a natural understanding of alchemy. The most powerful diamond known was even able to manipulate weather to her liking although it ended up drying up her life force.
