Tavrin "Small-One" Hallows

Tavrin is shy and quiet. He feels guilt for things that he's not responsible for, and feels like a burden on his family. He feels guilty for "making" his brothers abandoning him, for "making" Maleficent dump SiMaevolent, for not being able to do anything when Greed screams at Ridikyu. Despite his childish mind, a side-effect of a traumatic event as a hatchling, Tavrin feels this adult weight over him almost all the time. He loves Maleficent and Delusion lots, and is very kind and well-mannered to everyone in the Caravan. He is grateful for their care, but he doesn't feel like he really deserves it. After all, he will never grow up-- so why should they be forced to take care of him for as long as he lives? Maleficent likes to cuddle with him and tell him that everything will be alright. Tavrin feels safest with her, but loves almost everyone in the Caravan. His favorite food is chocolate and his favorite color is yellow like the sun.
Shimmering Pinecone - - - - ▢ History
Tavrin was the last child that his biological parents would ever have. Though their fate is unknown, the destiny of Tavrin and his siblings is not. His older brothers both abandoned him, leaving the poor little Wildclaw to fend for himself. It is not surprise he was attacked by some rogue Raptorik, a group lacking morals and any sense of mercy. They cruelly descended upon the unlucky hatchling, ready to cut him to ribbons and then into nothing. Tavrin suffered grievous wounds, and was sure he would die, passing out before he heard the enraged cry of another dragon. Though outnumbered by many, Maleficent managed to stun the Raptorik enough to swoop up the child and flee the scene. She was persisted by the angered flock, many bleeding from their unexpected wounds, but once Maleficent reached the safety of the Caravan it was all over for them. Soon, all that remained of the would-be hatchling killers were piles of bloodied feathers. The healers did the best they could to rescue Tavrin, but in the end magic was the best solution. Tavrin awoke a Gaoler, and would have been dead were it not for the scroll used upon him.
Immaculate Tablet - - - - ▢ Name
"Tavrin" was his birth name, and the little one requested that he keep it, despite his family abandoning him. The nickname "Small-One" was bestowed upon him as it appears that Tavrin is unable to age or grow. His mentality and form will always be that of a child, which the dragons more experienced with magic claim is due to the injuries he suffered before the transformation. His future was sacrificed for his life, so he will remain a hatchling forever. His last name, "Hallows", is due to his colors. With fluffy black fur, a striking orange underbelly, and piercing purple eyes, it is no wonder his name is reminiscent of All Hallows' Eve.

▢ Trivia
  • Delusion is Tavrin's favorite brother. Delusion plays with Tavrin more than the others combined, and seems to love Maleficent as much as Tavrin does, which is a lot.
  • Aberration and Greed scare Tavrin a bit. Aberration always smells weird, and Greed yells at his mate a lot when he thinks that others can't hear him. Maleficent says that Ridikyu is strong and tells Tavrin not to worry, but he can't help but flinch when his other brothers are near.
  • The full name of Tavrin's plush is Stuffy McStufferton. Cougar made it for him so that he would never be alone.
