Despite being born of Snickertini Clarice doesn't have the green thumb her mother does, nor the drinking habit.. No, since she was fresh from the egg her interest has always been drawn towards the arts, be it dance or painting. As she grew her skill only grew in the former, and despite being a Guardian she moved with the grace of a Coatl..

When Clarice hit adulthood and left to find her charge she was nervous- But it was what she had to do, it was in her very nature and ingrained into her bones, it was not something she could ignore, and so off searching she went. Over many moons she traveled, stopping at anything or anyone that caught her fancy, but nothing caught her heart or sparked her passion.. And for a while she thought something was wrong, that she was broken and she'd never find her Charge.. But- On a warm summers day she came upon a Skydancer in a meadow, preforming a dance she had never seen done before. At once her heart was taken and she was elated! She had found her charge! But as she approached and the Skydancer slowed she felt her excitement muddle- What was happening? In her confusion she asked the stranger to dance again and when they complied that same elated rush filled her again- It wasn't the dragon that was her charge, but the dance itself.

The Skydancer, a strange bird who she never learned the name of was kind enough to teach Clarice the dance, though with how different their forms were it took months for her to polish each step and twist into perfection- Until finally she had it, her charge. After finding her calling she returned home, calmer and more serene then the rowdy teen who had left, and at once she began offering lessons to any dragons who showed interest, she was keeping her charge alive by passing it on to others, and nothing brought her greater joy.
