Seismos slithered onto the deck, fanning out his crest. He cleared his throat, moving across the airship with his chin in the air. The skydancers keeping the sails steady followed the captain with their eyes, silent. Seismos headed to the very front of the ship, his feathers quivering in the wind.

Upon reaching the front, he placed his front talons on the railing ever so gently. Inhaling, he felt his feathers being ruffled by the wind. It wasn’t right. He sighed, loudly, and spun around. “Wrong, wrong. The wind is coming from west, you have turned the ship in the wrong direction!” Seismos declared, fluttering his wings in frustration.

The skydancers at the sails instantly began chirping and moving around. Slowly, oh, so slowly, the ship turned. Seismos grumbled, his tail lashing across the deck as he crawled towards the pearlcatchers who were sorting the cargo. Their whiskers curled and tensed as he came near. “How is it coming along? Is it sorted and marked?” He snapped, inspecting their work closely. They weren’t done. Little more than halfway. “How come it’s taking this long? Are you polishing your pearls or working?” The pearlcatchers shifted in discomfort. He snorted, watching them as they went back to work.
A sudden tug in the ship made Seismos unfurl his wings to keep steady. “What in the name of- ...Imperials.” Seismos rushed to the railing, watching as a fairly large flock of imperials came flying towards Seismos's precious ship. “Batten down the hatches, fellas! We’re in for a rough ride.” Seismore called out, muttering to himself as he returned to his cabin. “How come we always be scheduled for the migration times...” Siesmos grumbled, shaking his head as he stumbled to the lower decks.

"Aye sir, I don't know what those imperials have done, but it's no good. The stabilizers are damaged and it's-a gonna take about a week or so until they're able to get this ship up." A Skydancer started, looking at the damaged magic core.

"Can you do it any faster? She was 'upposed to land 'n the Spire by tomorrow."
"Sorry, sir, but we can't change the laws of psychics. We won't be able to stabilize for about another four or so days. If you try 'n move her now.. she would go down quick."

Siesmos grumbled before feeling another surge in direction, leaning far to the left. Cries from the upper decks were heard followed by the sound of flapping wings. "Airship down! Airship down! Get out of there, you lazy lot!" Cried a voice. Pandemonium spread as some of the skydancers attempted to stabilize the large cargo ship. It was no use. Plummeting down from the sky, the airship went down, down, down, down...

Until a rush of wings- large wings went past the group that was hovering in the air. A group of imperials broke away from the group, flying in formation down towards the ship. Slowly swooping down underneath it, attempting to lift it up without breaking anything more. The ship alone was about the size of four of the imperials combined, but it creaked to the side as they slowly stabilized it, fighting among themselves.

Some of the dragons that weren't able to get out of the lower decks, including Siesmos, came up to the upper decks to watch the Imperials swoop back up and into the breezes carrying them north. Those that managed to come back down in time safely landed on the port. Shooken by how fast the situation happened.

"..Sir?" A short skydancer approached Siesmos.

"I don't think the high council will be very happy about this.."
