All natural objects contain their own power and energy. All healing is the transfer of energy from one source to another. A natural healer can transmit energy, in some mysterious way, from or through their own person to another being. O'Brien has spent his life sourcing and studying crystals and gemstones, concentrating specifically on their healing properties, how they can help ease pain and suffering both physical and spiritual.
In the process of healing by stones the healer first warms the chosen stone to activate it's vibrations this encourages the energies to flow from the stone. It is these vibrations that act on the patient to correct their own rhythms. It is the stone that is doing the work here, the healer acts as a channel and the patient has to simply let it act.
A few very fortunate beings possess the gift that enables them to unlock a stone's essence, channel it's energies and open up the higher vibrations of spirit necessary to perform healing.

Cleansing your chosen stone

A stone must be cleansed before use to remove any residual negative energy.
depending on the intended use for the cleansed stone there are several ways to achieve this.
A stone can be left outside for the three nights of the full moon, or left under full sun for three days.
It can be placed in fresh, running natural water, (a stream or brook).
It can be buried in freshly dug earth ( a small plant pot of earth would do if you haven't access to a garden space).
It can be placed in a bag of dry rice for one week.
Once cleansed a crystal should then be wrapped in a small piece of silk until the time comes to use it. Silk acts as a natural barrier to protect the stone from gathering stray energy and re-contaminating itself.
