Born in the depths of the eternal spire, Arakir is the beginning of existence, of life, of the hope you feel in your soul and the fear you harbor in your heart. He is the maker of every ray of light that hits your skin and every ounce of darkness that encases you in its wake. To deny his being, to disbelieve in what he is, means to reject reality at its core. Caught in a vicious dance with his counterpart, Zenith, Arakir resides in the eternal spire, a place so inaccessible and distant that it is beyond reach to any other creature. Its exact location is unknown, perhaps even undetectable to the mortal eye, in an attempt to keep all that is sacrilegious beyond its gates. To attempt to seek out its whereabouts is an effort destined to fail. Throughout eternity, Arakir has forged many other deities to guide and wield his creation, although he does not control them nor look back upon what he has formed. In his never ending dance, he does not stop to admire, to view, or to tend to what he may have blessed or cursed us with. Arakir was forged with nothing but the singular purpose to create and give, whether it be good-natured or whether it be bad. To pray to him, to attempt to seek out his mercy or his blessing, is in vain. For he does not hear you, nor will he ever answer. Not with words and not with actions.

Together with Zenith, he viciously creates what she eventually destroys, maintaining balance in absolutely everything we can even begin to comprehend. Truly poetic, if you think about it. Almost as if they were yin and yang. Whether that’s a good or bad way for the universe to go about things, we’ll never know, because it’s all we have to go by. There’s only so much I can say about the place he was born in, the eternal spire. Even though Arakir once forged even me in its depths, not even I can begin to comprehend what it is or where it came from. But that’s such a mortal train of thought, isn’t it? To want to know where something began or how it was formed, because we simply can’t comprehend eternity. Be my guest if you’d like to try, but all that you’ll ever find is that Arakir and the eternal spire have been here for a long time. Far longer than me, and I’ve made my rounds.” - Varus, the Seer
