One of the very first deities forged by Arakir, Varus is a near omniscient eye, eventually seeing all that is beyond and below the realm of a mortal’s gaze, travelling the expanse in search of the knowledge he so avidly seeks. Never satisfied, he seeks answers to questions few ask, revelling in the ones he does manage to discover and aiming to one day complete his collection of information. Varus does not have a home, nothing that binds him to a specific place, constantly moving rather than staying still. To meet him is a task near impossible, albeit still achievable, should you have something he seeks. Possessing information of such value is however not an easy feat, making it unlikely for him to ever appear in front of you. Spending his time attempting to immortalize knowledge, he composes scripture upon scripture on varying subjects, to convey and pass it on to anybody who may ask. Varus is the only deity who has, to this time, ever engaged in contact with mortals, his resolution to share his learning driving him far past the barriers other deities have so carefully maintained. To engage in contact with him is however a rare occurrence, for he will not answer your calls should it not be worth his time.

Where would I even begin about myself? I believe it to be an error to focus on yourself, rather than all the things happening around you. All that there is to seek out and discover, and I should sit here and worry about my boring, old self? Ridiculous. It appears I’m trailing off again. I have been around for a long while now, perhaps one of the very first forged. I’ve seen it all come to be, and I’ve seen it all end. Like I said, I’ve probably been around for too long, but where is the fun in quitting? Especially now, when I’m closer than I ever have been to completing my collection. I pray the day comes before I go insane, the day where I finally perceive the origins and the mysteries of where I was born. The eternal spire.
