You might think the Shade and easily aggravated Beastclan are the only things that may threaten a clan, but you're dead wrong!
Angles and Demons walk among us!
Some peaceful, and others malevolent and looking to cause trouble.
Ordinary dergs can't suss out who's who, but Fandel can!
True not all angels are good, and not all demons are bad, but it's Fandel's job to find out!
He was born with the gift of sight and sound- he can hear and see angles and demons that walk among us.
Fandel witnessed many a miracle, and many a tragedy over his many years on Sorineth.
One day he approached one of the angels, just seeking to talk, but it ignored him.
The next day he saw that angel slip something into a chalice of a crucial part of the ruling class- Fandel was curious what it was.
It turns out it was poison, and that the angel was not one of the good ones.
The next thing he knew, someone with a semi-dark aura was giving the poisoned derg some herbs and was telling them to eat them.
After a few minutes the previously poisoned derg was back on their claws, looking around for their savior, but not seeing them.
Fandel had watched them slip out without so much as a sound.
He knew where the being had gone and had followed it to an alleyway.
It knew he was there, it was just sitting on a crate, tossing a piece of fruit from one claw to another.
Fandel later learned that the figure was a "Demon", but not a bad one.
It asked Fandel if he wanted to use his power to sense those of his kind, and those that were angels for the good of dergkind.
Fandel agreed, and was given the power to physically touch and subsequently kill supernatural beings.
He now works to keep dergs safe from those that mar the name of angels, and those that perpetuate the "bad demon" stereotype!
Was going to name him Rosé or Zinsé, but neither of those are aloud, so he's Fandel after Zinfandel wine since one of his parents was already named Pinot.
