The charm to Zari's straightforwardness, the troublesome curiosity to Zari's untoppling confidence, Gilmour is ever the spellcaster and excited weaver of words. While not always clear in intentions, his goal tends to be no harm and all fun, regardless of means and the, uhh, various blunders along the way.

He's the one who butters deals, who prepares the bait and sets the trap, only to fade back into the background at the last second and watch with unending pride and amusement as Zari goes in for the kill - and go for the kill she does.

The two of them are some of the most skilled monster hunters on the whole continent, and their fame lands them plenty fruitful contracts to track down and eliminate the shade infested, feral beasts that threaten innocent life. It's not easy work, it's not clean or safe, but there's no calling in the world Gilmour could picture himself loving more than this.

Him and Zari are partners in life just like they are partners in battle, and they're as secretive about it as they are obvious. If someone catches on, so be it. They don't flaunt it and don't hide it, either.

Lately though, their tight little duo has been looking to expand, if only in the context of work - an ambitious gaoler by the name of Yikta has been insistent on tagging along as their tracker, ever since that fateful mission they had helped out on that took them into the depths of the Foxfire Bramble. They seem solid in battle just like they do in the face of an elaborate card game or an impending prank, and so Gilmour finds himself looking forward to the work they'll do together. If nothing else, at least they're fun to have around, however long that may last.
