Scene: Cottage Garden
One of the flowers is wilting. Buzz usually handles this but he can't handle this, not if he's led him over here to look at it. Terry reaches to feel the soil beneath it - it's dry as dust.

"Poor thing," he says, as Buzz hums worriedly at his side. "Here-" and he tilts forward, emptying nutrient-rich water from his capsule onto the soil. He knows, when he comes back around later, the plant will be flourishing once more. At his side Buzz flutters his wings, satisfied, and bumbles off.

The garden is flourishing around them, Terence had hopped over when he'd let out some of his water, his tongue darting out to steal what few drops were left on the soil's surface before Terry can grab him. "Come here," he says determinedly, catching the amphibian and setting him on his perch atop his head. "I've got the ponds to see next, you can steal water there."

Entirely unimpressed, Terence lets out a noise like a deflating balloon. He does, however, stay put.

It's a meandering path to the ponds. The flowerbeds are rich and flourishing in Terry's garden, well tended by Buzz's attentiveness and Terry's water and careful pruning. Nothing here is unhappy for long - Terry had even caught mayflies to feed to the venus flytrap when it had been trodden on, careful to feed them to it one by one until it was thriving once more. His own body reflects how well the garden is doing - the shrubs that thrive at his shoulders, the flowers and thorns across his wings. He might as well be their plant-pot, his capsule the reservoir of water that feeds them. On his skin, they thrive.

He can see Buzz at the far end of the garden, checking over the rosebush, the primrose tree, the dogwood. The arch to the garden is bordered by tall hollyhocks and shadowed by a large oak on one side, leading on the left to a small orchard, ahead to the shrubs and flowerbeds, and on the right to his current destination - the pond and, at it's other side, the herb garden.

"There you go," Terry says, as he flutters down towards the water's edge. It's an easy thing to scoop Terence from his head and set him by the water - and he knows Terence is likely to stay put. There's frogspawn in the water and though Terence may wander towards him, he is otherwise loathe to leave the spawn he and his lady-friend have set to growing in the pond.

The flowers are blooming. The herbs are coming up cleanly. Even with how often they're used in cooking, not a single one is looking over-used - though he may have to plant some more basil soon, and another bundle of wild garlic. There's a shaded corner at the far end as well, damp and cool - he halfways wants to spore some fungi there. He hums slightly, his head fins bobbing up-down in happiness.

More life in Terry's garden. More friends. He couldn't be more pleased.
