Mythology Expert! KIRIN  Favorite Familiar: Raptorik Herder 
 DESCRIPTION Kirin is a very skittish, very kind lady who wishes to be a mother someday. She was outcasted by her home tribe in the Shadow Flight due to the tribe's belief that the Shadow Primal eyes were in fact The Shade. She was found and brought to the clan by an odd Bogsneak named Jacarii, who, despite being much younger than Kirin, offered her guidance to the elder. Kirin has since resided on the outskirts of the clan with the Bogsneak and her companions, but her keen intuition is warning her of a future conflict in the ranks. Despite her worry, she plans on remaining, taking no side in the fight that will soon happen. |
"How much longer you gonna hide in there?"
Kirin startled, pushing herself further into the tunnel hole. She noticed me? she thought to herself, a bolt of terror running through her when the offending dragon stuck her head inside. A large bird skull covered her face, a ton of foliage covering more than half her body. Despite the mask blocking her face, Kirin could just barely make out a smile.
"Every time I come by, I see the trail of guck you left behind... No shame, though! Nothing wrong with having the eyes given to you by your god," The Bogsneak chuckled, before looking Kirin over more closely. "My, you must be starving! Come, come, my clan always has more than enough food!"
She turned without waiting for a response, leaving Kirin. She thought to herself for a moment, when her stomach rumbled.
A little food wouldn't hurt her.
She crawled out after the other, hissing slightly as the light reached her murky eyes.The Bogsneak smiled at her, her small familiar peeking from the large... whatever that was covering her.
"My name's Jacarii. You can stick around me if you like, even after you get something to eat!" Jacarii smiled again behind her mask, offering a clawed hand. "What name does a blessed being like you have?"
Kirin smiled softly at Jacarii's words, before offering her own hand. Maybe sticking around her wouldn't be so bad...
"You can call me Kirin... It's a pleasure to meet you."
