Vivecca is a natural teacher and older sister figure. She always tries to keep others in a good mood, and acts as the glue holding a few of the other scavengers together. She is not oblivious to her own problems, but simply chooses to ignore them until she can't anymore while she focuses on others to distract herself. Which, yeah, is probably a huge character flaw and potentially very self destructive, but she chooses to ignore that too.
