Indrani is a rough and tumble Fae who grew up pampered to the high heavens yet remained very down-to-earth and ready to scrap with anyone who dared disrespect her family or clan. She took up the role of bodyguard for some of the weaker or less violence-inclined dragons of the clan, which is how she met and fell in love with Ieva. Unlike her parents who are both scholars of some kind, Indrani always found it difficult to sit still and learn about most scholarly subjects, save for those of ancient and current forms of defense.

Within The Hive, she is one of several Fae who is constantly on Roost Watch, in rotating shifts so that everyone has time to relax and sleep. No one, enemy or pest, will get by her on her watch, and her vigilance has saved the Fae many a time from extremely aggressive 'food' that escaped some of the other dragons. The meat-eaters of the clan STILL have not apologized for the Pygmy Hippo Incident.

Indrani greatly admires and respects the Mafia of Pinks and Purples, led by her brother Raynan in a far off clan. While she knows (or thinks, at least) that she could never be a part of the group due to her colors, she still does her best to emulate the characteristics that she finds to be the best part of the small mafia group. She often misses her older brother, but doesn't reach out for fear of distracting him from the important clan matters that he always deals with.

Eventually of course Raynan learns that his little sister both greatly misses him and feels as if she wouldn't be welcome in his crew, and he sets out to set his little sister at ease.

Raynan would take her aside very gently and firmly tell her that he is never too busy for family if they need him for anything or just want to see him. "See, my clan and my crew have good dragons - strong ones - and I trust them with my affairs when I'm not there. So, if you ever miss your big bro, you just call on me and I'll knock around anyone who tries to stop you, you hear? We gotta stick together, you know. That's what us mafia do - we're family and you've got a place with me and my crew. No little sis of mine's gonna be left out in the cold on my watch." And he's all puffed up and proud that she's trying to be like him in some way >v<
