My name is Coco. I am the first official member of the Kalma Clan, raised by Qubine himself. I am told that my egg came from the Gladekeeper herself, and that I have no dragon parents. Therefore, Qubine is the closest I have to a father. So I did everything I could to help him and the clan combat the plague that had crippled his former clan. Qubine had me mate with Azalea, one of the sick dragons from the old clan, and she was the most beautiful dragon I had ever seen. Even though the first time we bred was out of necessity, we ended up caring for each other more and more as time went on. I was afraid of losing her in the Passage, not being able to protect her during that time. So I was relieved when she completed it. I still haven't forgiven Malus for kidnapping her, but he helped her survive the Passage, which is the only thing that kept me from killing him.

When I began my Passage, Kladeos and I dreamed of the glory of becoming strong warriors like Qubine. However, as we got further in, and particularly after Kladeos's death, I realized that being a strong warrior was anything but glorious. While I can still feel proud for completing the Passage, the achievement still seems so hollow when I think of Kladeos.

The plague's been cured, but it's not all sunshine and rainbows yet. The Beastclans remain at large, and some Nocturne called Erebus is trying to corrupt the world in darkness. His attack even forced us to flee from our home. Azalea and I managed to flee together, but I'm not sure about the others. We'll have to find them somehow, and stop Erebus before he fulfills his ambitions.

Surviving the Passage was only the beginning…

Plague Arc

When Qubine began his quest to rebuild his clan, the Gladekeeper granted him a single egg. The Mirror hatchling within the egg was named Coco. Within a week, he became an adult, and under Qubine's instruction, formed the first Passage team with Kladeos and Dugan. When Dugan died, Coco and Kladeos were forced to wait on the sidelines until a replacement healer was found. However, Qubine had little luck in finding any eggs with female dragons or healers. So he chose Azalea to be treated by the Gladekeeper so that she could breed with Coco. When Coco first laid eyes on the Fae, he was instantly smitten by her beauty.

While waiting for Azalea to become ready to breed, Coco carved his first tombstone for Dugan, and marked his grave with it. When Azalea was finally ready to breed, Coco went straight to work, with a warning from the Gladekeeper that there was no guarantee that the eggs would survive. Both dragons proceeded with the breeding. Several days later, the eggs hatched three Faes, but only one was alive. The survivor was named Kincaid. It was then decided that Kincaid would replace Dugan as Coco and Kladeos' healer. Coco vowed to keep his son safe.

Coco's team blazed through the Passage until they got to the Waterway. Unfortunately, it was then that Coco experienced his greatest loss. Kladeos was fatally wounded by the Scarlet Flycatcher and a Sunset Lasher. Coco tried desperately to revive his best friend, but to no avail, as Kladeos died. Sadly, he left the Waterway with Kincaid in tow. Once Qubine had returned, Coco was presented with the Stripes gene for his wings. Afterwards, Sabori was treated with Orphne's medicine and joined Coco's team to replace Kladeos.

When Orphne was captured by the Centaurs, Coco was part of the rescue team. He battled the Centaurs outside their fort while Percival and Brahm went inside. Once Orphne was freed, the dragons pulled out, but not before Azalea was injured. Coco personally carried her out.

Coco then turned a year old, but there was no cause for celebration, as it also marked the anniversary of when the plague began. Shortly afterwards, Coco successfully completed the Passage with Sabori and Kincaid. Coco then earned his Circuit gene.

Finally, when Orphne discovered the permanent cure, Coco watched Azalea closely as she took the antidote and fully recovered. When Qubine gave the clan the choice to stay or leave to pursue their own goals, Coco remained with his family.


Fae of Light Arc

Coco isn't seen as much during the Fae of Light Arc as of yet. One day, Qubine decided to test his strength by sparring with him in battle. Coco was able to hold his own against the clan leader, and the match ended in a draw.

When Erebus attacked the lair, Coco fled with Azalea. Their current whereabouts are unknown.
