Even though covered in foliage, Viatrix still had trouble camouflaging into the tall grass. She would normally spend days at end searching for absolutely any sign for a lair. But this time, it had been 3 whole months since the last fools kicked her out of their lair, somewhere in The Viridian Labyrinth.
Trix preferred the colder climate lairs, even though it was common for her type to like the more humid lairs.
Via was not a Gaoler, she, in fact, wasn’t even a dragon! Though some imbeciles think otherwise,
Viatrix loves treasure, gems, food, and apparel. So she takes it. Out of lairs that don’t belong to her.
It was the same old story every time: “AAAAAAAAGH SOMEBODY HEEEEEEELP” then she’d be welcomed into the nearest lair,(for the foolish dragons think she’s wounded) there, she would start her mission. She would first sneak around at dark, searching for the lair’s hoard. Then she would make her move, stuffing every item that she could possibly find into a leather bag.
(That she always carries with her, hidden under all that fur)

It was the life for her, it was the perfect life for her. One that suited her so well. One that she loved with all her heart. And the only one that she had ever known.
She hadn’t been counted her age, so it wasn’t a possibility to know how long she had gone on with this life of thievery, acting and mischievousness.

The female creature didn’t know what she was, she only knew that the only way to survive was to trick dragons into thinking that you mean them no harm,(which Trix didn’t) and that you only needed to recover from your leg injury that you were in “major pain” because.

Via had noticed that she could transform into different breeds of dragon once every year.
She didn’t know how many times she had morphed into different breeds, but she knew she had done it a lot.
She knew that she had morphed into each dragon breed at least once. She remembered two or three times when she stayed the same breed.
Every year she had to chance to “change” her dragon breed, but her genes never changed. She noticed that she didn’t actually remember the day she appeared on Sornieth. She just remember a blur of motion, and her being a Tundra breed. The breed “Tundra” was her first morph.

As the years flew past her, she noticed the strategy in the game she was playing. You had to be very convincing, and sort of innocent looking. Through the years, she played her thievery game as the Fae, Viatrix thought they looked tiny and innocent, and easy to mistake them for harmless. And it worked! Trix stayed a Fae for a while, rejecting a couple year’s chance to morph.
But then the Gaolers came along, rising out of the earth.
And Trix noticed how the clans took the wary dragons in, and doing all they could to help them.

And that’s when the creature saw her chance.
