I'm not sure if it's love anymore,
But I've been thinking of you fondly for sure,
Remember what your heart is for.
By your hand is the only end I foresee,
I have been dreaming,
You've been dreaming about me.
It's a good night,
For a fist fight,
Because the dew will temper your fall,
You'll sing me lullabies in form of your cat-calls.
"Ice Rune Ice Nightcallers are the most reserved and militant of their kin. They tend to be rather secretive about their abilities, but are notorious for using their birth-element to their advantage: preserving and studying their kills extensively. Not the most eager to fight, but they can be bossy and aggressive when they don't get their way."
Mother a Nightcaller, father a Night Warrior - Fei truly is a nocturnal child, spending the days flooded with sunlight in a dreamless slumber. Born as the youngest of three siblings, she always felt the need to prove herself. Whether it was about looks or strength, Fei has done everything in her power to be better than her older brother and sister. Still, there was no doubt she was the physically weakest one - especially when it came to their increasingly violent quarrels.
Unwilling to accept her fate, she instead focused on becoming the most beautiful of her clutch, ignoring her siblings' countless provocations. Discovering the world of jewelry, silks and other cosmetics, Feileacan soon captured everyone's attention wherever she went. But was this her life now? With a bloodline like hers, could being pretty be all she was capable of? The Ridgeback was still unsatisfied, even though she would have never admitted it.
One day, when she was about to try on a new dress she had purchased some time ago, Fei noticed a couple of moths in her closet. She hastily went through her clothes only to discover several holes decorating her favourite shawls and mantles. Anger. Fury. Hate. Her emotions were all over the place. It wasn't about the dresses, she could always buy new ones, no - it was her own fragility that caused her to be furious. Even beings as weak as moths were able to harm her outward appearance.
All of a sudden, she felt a strange energy streaming through her veins. In the matter of seconds, all of the moths she angrily hit dropped to the ground - dead. The dragon paused for a moment. Weird. Somehow, this reminded Feileacan of the story her mother had told her about her powers. Could it be? When she caught a glimpse of her reflection in the window, something about her seemed... different. Her eyes sparkled in a way she had never seen before, her scales almost seemed to glow and even her wings looked more beautiful than ever, reflecting every star of the night sky outside.
There was no doubt, something magical happened when she felt the strongest of emotions. Experimenting more and more over the course of the following weeks, Fei found out that the magic of her ancestors had lingered in her all along - as it seemed, she was able to drain the life energy of other living things with a single touch, temporarily enhancing her own beauty. Embracing her new power, Feileacan was certain she had finally found her true calling. Now, she was able to be truly special - the most beautiful one as well as the only one capable of the Nightcallers' magic.
One should be wary when Fei shows one of her rare, anticipating smiles in their presence. Chances are she has chosen her next victim...
