Biography
Upon approaching the storefront you notice a young Coatl dancing between the shelves, checking expiration dates and marking stock levels on an old battered clipboard. Boxes, cages, dried goods, and more are stacked from floor to ceiling in a most precarious manner, but from the way the dragon moves expertly between them, you get the feeling everything is exactly where it's supposed to be. After a few minutes you catch his eye through the brine of a pickle jar.
"Ah, my apologies. I'll be right there!" he chirps.
Something falls to the floor with a crash, after which a curse rings out from somewhere within the chaos. The Coatl appears at the front desk moments later, wiping his claws on the front of his tunic before addressing you.
"Welcome to the Promptuarium! I'm the quartermaster, Hoshi." The dragon gives a curt bow of greeting. "You're here to trade, yes? I'm always looking for rare artifacts and exotic creatures to expandmy our collection."
After flipping through the messy papers on the clipboard, he removes a couple of sheets and places them carefully in front of you.
"Please don't hesitate to call for me if you have any questions or would like to make a trade." he says with a smile, flicking his tongue a few times for emphasis. "I'm sure we can make a deal or two."
"Now, if you'll excuse me- I think a wisp got loose back here and I need to catch it before it chews through our entire stock of ectoplasm. Again."
Following an exasperated sigh Hoshi disappears back into the maze of the storeroom, leaving you to examine the list in peace.
