Notes: Ascalapha arrived as a tiny adorable hatchling who made a strong impression on the nest guardian Evadne and nursemaids with her ferocity and spirit. Evadne consulted with several other mirrors in the clan, asking them how to teach her to channel her tiny fits of rage and control her anger. The least likely candidate proved most successful, Acheron took her under his wing and adopted her as protegee and daughter. Ascalapha, as a very young hatchling, saw horrific and traumatizing things that she is still unable to verbalize but the strength of Acheron and his mate Orphne tempered her rage, gave her an outlet for her trauma that allowed her to grow and move on - healing might be out of her reach right now, but perhaps someday she’ll find her way to it. For now she has a goal, a purpose, a home, and a family.
