Cuttle is a dragon who has garnered much sympathy in the kingdom he resides in. Due to him being an older brother, he was next in line for the throne, yet this caused him to suffer much abuse at the hand of his younger brother, Stardew, who grew jealous of the power that awaited the fae. Through this torment, the fae's sanity began to deteriorate, which was utilized by his younger brother as a reason for why he would be unfit as a king. Though Stardew would take Cuttle's place, his evil deeds persisted, leading to his downfall and subsequent exile. This left the fae to take charge and repair what his brother had destroyed, but even with his younger brother gone, Cuttle still finds himself struggling.

Due to Stardew's mistreatment, the Fae had seemed to lose a bit of his mind and can barely be understood by anyone. His movements are erratic and he seems to have developed his own language of squeaks and spats that only he can comprehend. Despite this, he is able to grasp what others are saying, and many consider him to be living proof that "actions speak louder than words". It seems that as unpredictable and confusing as he can be, a good heart still rests within him. Although the fae may come up with the strangest of plans or ideas, they always seem to work out in the end, allowing his kingdom to heal and work towards a better future. If Cuttle could speak, he would give credit to Ficta, a strange spirit only he can see that appeared not too long after Stardew was defeated. He isn't sure whether the spirit is real or if it's a figment of his imagination, but in the end, it doesn't matter much to the fae. Real or not, under the guidance and direction of Ficta, Cuttle has managed to keep his feet on the ground and has stopped himself from following a similar path to his younger brother in becoming destructive or violent. |

| One bothersome thing is that Ficta has a tendency of leading Cuttle down a road of mischief and wrong-doing, but she at least has the heart to make sure it's something that can be fixed. Or at least, that's what the fae tells himself. Many chalk this up to Cuttle wanting to have a bit of fun, but the fae would rather keep himself busy with his work. Ficta always disagrees with Cuttle's supposed need to constantly work, often advising him to relax or "chill out" every now and again. Unfortunately, it's easier said than done, as the new king has much work to do in the wake of his brother. |
