Hello. My name is Radioactive, but I'm not toxic, I am not what others make me out to be. Yes, I know that I shine bright, like the stars up in the sky, but I'm really very very shy.
No one knows what it is like, trying to hide, but your so bright it gives you away. It is difficult to play with others from my nest, or even other hatchlings. I am given many a strange look because of my color.
So, I wander in caves, where it is dark, and sneak books that belong to the elders in there to read. Or sometimes I just sit and sing to myself.
I often see these little glow in the dark creatures, and they are not afraid of me. So I will play with them sometimes, or we sit and try to communicate, but they do love to hear me sing.
My mother, she tells me that she loves me, she says that my color is so unique, and that i am so very beautiful. " Be strong, my little warrior, you are beautiful and one day, you will find an Eternal Mate, and he will love you as I do... and see the beauty that I see in you." She smiles brightly and pats my head.
I hope I grow up one day and be big and strong like her.
I have told my mommy that I wish to battle in the coliseum, like so many other dragons, and become a hero in the eyes of dragons who are looked at as oddly as I am.
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder," I will tell them. "Find strength in who you are and you will go far."
I have heard that far from here is a clan, Momsterwerewolf is the leader. It is said that she has dragons named Blood Warrior, PrimalSky and the big guy that they call GhostMachine (He is like me, a Goaler!).
I would love to grow up and be warriors like them, and in my spare time, I would read books and perhaps paint a snowy scene with a lake in the background.
Traveling the wild winter tundra, seeing all of the snow, that would be an amazing journey. Meeting others like me, and learning about our history. I know out there are dragons who tell tales of old, I would like very much to sit at their knee and listen to our lore.
Would you go with me? Would you watch over me ?
I'd like that so much mother, just to know that you are still there. I will be brave, I will grow strong, I will make you proud mother.
