"Boo!!!" A spiral with terrifying features jumps from a bush, teeth much sharper and eyes much brighter than a normal spiral's eyes would be, much larger than a normal spiral could be. Mashu hates that he DOES jump a bit, rolling his eyes as Monarch rolls backwards, laughing giddily.

Monarch had seemingly "Dissapeared" from the group a little over an hour ago, apparently just looking for a perfect opportunity to jump out and scare the group. The other two were not impressed, especially the large imperial who's bored expression only SOMETIMES swayed her.

Monarch snorts as she rolls, not stopping even after the loud sigh from Mashu.

"Please, for once, can we not have a normal, calm walk?" Mashu complains, pointedly ignoring that, yes, she did just scare him.

"Oh, but where's the fun in that! I can count on my claws now how many times I've made you jump out of your skin!" She retorts, bouncing happily around him as they continue the trek.

"You have not. You've startled me, not scared me. There's a big difference."

"Your big words mean nothing when you're a coward."

"Wh-I-"

"Admit it! My little tricks have scared you!" She teases, fluttering her wings in amusement, deciding she would rather look more like a puny imperial, wings always folding rather nicely around her back in imperial form, she thought. Capelike.

"I will not! Don't create falsehoods in your mind! I only jump out of impulse, if I run my claws towards your face you will flinch!"

"Ohhh, so now it's a fight you want, eh?"

"I never said that! I was-"

"Hush." A booming voice from the two of them, the imperial that was perpetually tailing the group. "You two are acting like hatchlings."

"Wh- She started it!!" Mashu defends, embarrassed.

"You should just learn to ignore her. Like I do." Johnsonii replies blankly.

"Hey!!" A grumpy shapeshifting imperial is suddenly attached to his unimpressed face, even when her little claws make indents in his scales.

"Fierce, I say! I am fierce, and I will not be ignored!" She hisses, grumpy expression staring him directly in the eyes.

"Of course, your majesty. Rude of me." He replies, holding back the urge to roll his eyes.

With that, Monarch's mood turns a full 180, she smiles and scrambles her way to lay across his head and neck, ordering him forwards, which he complies to without hesitation.

"What!!" Comes the protest from Mashu, whiskers waving with frustration.

"What."

"So, piggyback rides for the hatchling who leaves us for an hour?"

"You simply do not understand my geniuses." Monarch remarks from the top of Johnsonii's head, tail thwap-ing against his neck in smug delight.

Mashu rolls his eyes, and before he can grump more, gravity suddenly doesn't exist for a moment, and he only has a second to think about it before a tail that's scooped him under the torso plops him down on a sturdy back.

"Come on then, hatchlings." Johnsonii teases as he starts walking, Mashu scrambling to keep hold without hurting his friend as he walks, finding stable footing before being half jumped on, wings wrapping around him. He sighs, rolling his eyes. They better reach their destination very, Very soon.
