Amane was once fondly known as the spring blossom of her home glade, her bubbly presence and charming personality bringing joy to all who met her.

That was, however, before her clan was devastated by a pack of gale wolves. Homeless and alone, Amane withdrew into a depression and kept to herself in the wilds. It would be several months before she began to hear whisperings among the creatures of a bearer of light who struck down any who stood against him with no mercy. So far, he had killed many - a particular roving gale wolf pack included.

Intrigued and elated that her clan had been avenged, she decided to seek out this mystery warrior for herself. She had expected to find herself impressed with him when she finally came before him, but Amane had not expected to fall in love with Yagami. On the spot, she swore him her very soul that she would do all she could to assist him in his mission of purifying the land and laying the groundwork for a clan of his own.

While she happily calls Yagami her mate, and viciously defends him from other females, Amane remains oblivious to the fact that Yagami sees her as exactly what she presented herself to him as - a tool for his own means.
