Erupt's first encounter with the clan was hardly a pleasant one. Another wandering dragon, he very nearly met his end at Tanwen's jaws after sneaking into the nursery. Saved only by Shui's quick interference, he was able to plead his innocence. It had been raining, he claimed, and he had found his way into the nursery cave by accident. He only sought shelter - that he promised.
Was he telling the truth? Tanwen was not convinced, but she delivered him into Shui's custody. The Imperial Dragon was hardly pleased with this turn of events, but took it in his stride. In the end, he was pleasantly surprised. Erupt had a taste for stories and a quick mind - although he often looked shady, the clan were satisfied that he could be stopped in the middle of whatever skulduggery he planned with a simple 'Once upon a time'.
