Sparrow had lived her life on the outskirts of the Sunbeam Ruins. They were just on the edge of the territory, but the dragons there still worshiped and soaked in the sun all the same. There was rarely a dragon that was not born there, except for Sparrow, of course. At a young age she was adopted by two loving parents, which led to the community accepting her. It came in handy when both passed away just a year later. Saddened but not alone, Sparrow lived her life as a member of the Light dragons.

She found love with another orphan named Thistlewell. Together they built a nest, settled down, and even had four eggs together. Thistlewell would fly out each day to retrieve food, flowers and one small special treasure he'd imagine his kids might love once they hatched. That is why the day the clan was attacked, he wasn't there.

Aberrations. Hundreds of them. They swarmed the cliffs in teams of two. The first would watch for just one moment when the parent wasn't paying as much attention as usual. For Sparrow, it was when she turned to gaze at the flowers her lover had brought her. Then they rushed in, pushing and grabbing Sparrow as their partner swooped in to gather the eggs. Sparrow fought but was forced to watch as the egg collector bit into the first egg.

At that moment, she knew; she knew her children were gone, she knew she had failed. She knew Thistlewell was out there, somewhere, unaware and unable to help. Thistlewell...Thistlewell! He could help! He could fix things! She wrenched herself from her opponent's grip and jumped from the cliffs, desperate to find help.

However, it wasn't hard for the hulking, two-headed figure to overpower and knockout the fleeing mother. She plummeted, over the edge of the cliffs below and the islands as a whole. When she later awoke, she was somehow in the Wind Domain. Three dragons immediately met her. They helped her to her feet, took her in, fed her, clothed, her, and to this day she remains in the clan. She has grown to appreciate her peers but has never found another lover... instead she hopes that Thistlewell didn't go home, that he is alive and looking for her, while she stays; finding ways to cope with her sorrow... Though simply helping raising hatchlings did wonders for her grief.
