Ionn is a curious dragon. Able to dissolve her body into light, she occasionally has trouble keeping herself together. Literally.

Ionn’s power came from illegal experimentation: Project decided that having a dragon able to turn incorporeal would be an asset, and picked this unlucky dragon as one of many. Fortunately for her, she was the only success – the rest died during the Lighting process.

Ionn was rescued by a FL\GHT rescue team, who was unfortunately too late to save the others. She decided that her misfortune could bring good to others, and joined FL\GHT. During her training she befriended the Intelligence cryoborg, Amhara, and heard of a clan that accepted all sorts of dragons. She decided to make the clan as her home base, coming back to mingle with the others between missions.

Because of her unique powers, Ionn decided that she would serve best under the Rescue/Infiltration faction. She is able to phase through solid objects, and is completely silent while made of light. She isn’t assigned to a team yet, preferring to jump between teams until she finds dragons with whom to form a tight-knit partnership.

Unfortunately, Ionn has no sense of direction and gets lost very easily. This makes her impractical for a leader of any group, and can cause some dissension between her and various team members.

S T O R Y

Ionn twisted and turned, overwhelmed by the sheer amount of dragons surrounding her. She hadn’t been here long, in FL\GHT’s headquarters, but she was starting to get the hang of it.

Unfortunately, the layout was still too much to handle.

A black imperial caught her eye, and she soared over to him.

“Excuse me,” she said. “I’m supposed to meet an Intelligence dragon? Amhara?”

“Oh, her,” the imperial said. “Yeah, she’s down the hallway, third door on your left. Careful though; she’s very fragile.”

Ionn nodded and flew into the forementioned hallway.

“Let’s see, first door on the right? Or was it second on the left?”

A door opened and a dark grey pearlcatcher walked out. She had opals that looked like ice, and wires attached to her partially frozen body. She stopped when she saw Ionn.

“Oh, hello. You must be the new recruit. I am Amhara; welcome to FL\GHT.”
