After his mother unexpectedly decided to settle in a clan, Wanderer continued her journey, finding that he had much of the same adventurous manner that his mother had. Where his journey would take him, he didn't know, but he was excited to find out!
His first journey was a test, and after it he felt confident enough to take on the world again.

Wanderer ventured into the Sunbeam Ruins, where he was quickly taken into the care of a clan of Light dragons. They listened to his story, and heard of his desire to journey around the world ("Tsk! So typical of a Wind dragon, isn't it?" they teased) but were reluctant to send a hatchling out alone. Wanderer stayed in their care and learned their ways, but his dream lived on in his heart. Finally, the day came when he was a dragon full-grown. Though the clan was reluctant to see him go, they respected his wishes, and let Wanderer continue his adventures.

Admittedly, it was nice to be welcomed back into a wind lair, and though they treated him well, his thirst for adventure had yet to be quenched. The lairmates could sense it in him, and it pained them to see him go, but his happiness was of the utmost importance. So, they sent him off, trying to focus on how much Wanderer would benefit from continuing his journey.

After visiting several fascinating nests, Wanderer came upon the UristMcD clan, an unusually turbulent and peaceless clan for one governed by the element of nature. While the clan was clearly not going to be a restful or safe place for him, it was fascinating and Wanderer was at least warmly welcomed by the clan leaders, who called themselves gods, and seemed eager to convert him as a missionary for their cause.

For the first time, Wanderer found himself in a Lightning nest. He wasn't quite sure what to make of the gloomy, dry, desert abode or the hustle and bustle of Stormcatcher's employees. After a few close calls with lasers, Wanderer decided to move on once again.

The strong winds brought him back to a nature clan, full of beautiful shimmering dragons who welcomed him, for a short time. He found a small black Fae dragon to settle down with for a few days.

After leaving the Fae he ended up back at a nature nest. The dragons of this clan treated him nicely and one even gave him a tour to meet everyone. There were 19 hatchlings born while he stayed with the clan and he got to see most of them grow up. He even got the see the clans wondering dragon Rina(#37654641) who had just got back from visiting a few clans herself. They would stay up late and trades stories about how every clan was so different from their home clan. It looked like they had a lot of fun together.
