Now the Horrorbeast known as Fear of Moonless Night is sealed away in an ironwood tree, which Brigitte has taken it upon herself to guard. Rabbit insists on helping, on the rare occasion that Brigitte needs to sleep. Other dragons from the Wild Oasis also visit her, insisting that she must be lonely, pacing a circle deep in the forest. She says she's fine with being alone, and maybe she would be. But, secretly, she appreciates the company and kindness of her visitors.
