Faith is such a sensitive thing.

And this wretched, manipulative monster had taken hold of that simple fact with eager claws. Contorting it until it was no longer the sweet, caring thing it was meant to be. He had made a grotesque beast out of once something so delicate. And yet, it somehow it still seemed.. beautiful.

It was still beautiful. HE was still beautiful. And his clan thinks nothing but that.

Narcissus was outstanding. Their savior, a God reincarnated.
They repeated that like drones. Never thinking twice of that malicious smile that slinked across the face of the dragon, nor of that greedy glint that twinkled in his eyes each time offerings were made to keep their God satisfied. They were so lucky to have such a blessing, to have a divine here protecting them and guiding them down the right path!

Narcissus is quite the monster. Selfish and self-absorbed, he tends to lure people in at their weakest point. Offering warmth and shelter, acting as a diety. Making them believe that they should be thankful for even being within the presence of him. All he asks back?
Their undivided loyalty and commitment to the only true God, himself.


The Promise
