They had followed a tainted trail and discovered something strange, a lab with prisons dedicated to containing the ancient enemy and signs that one had left. So they followed the trail and discovered a statue in the shape of a dragon that held a truly fascinating amount of the enemies taint. They would follow this being and see if it could be incorporated by the council to help combat the enemy.
