Maroon
As you walk through the Light Flight’s territory, you spot an odd area at the edge of the border. It looks nothing like the crumbling, ivy-covered walls in the rest of the territory. It is a wall with a jagged opening, which you assume leads in to some underground cavern. As you walk closer, you notice a male tundra guarding the entrance. You freeze as he looks up and spots you. You start to back away, but the tundra blocks your way. “Hello. Welcome to the Sun Den. Why are you here?” His voice is light and friendly, and his eyes look kind. But even so, it could be a trick. Your eyes dart around, looking for a way out. “Ah, well... I was just passing through...” You finally manage to stutter. The tundra smiles. “My name is Maroon. I am the clan greeter, and I also guard the territory from intruders. What’s your name?” You stare at him for a second before you are able to fully comprehend his words. “M-My name is S-Swift. You look down at the ground and scuffle your hind leg. Maroon’s smile widens. It’s nice to meet you, Swift! He shakes your paw. He has a strong grip... “Well, since you just happened to be passing through, let me show you our home!” He gently tugs your arm, and before you could say Wildclaw, you were submersed in a vast system of caves. You look around and shudder, wishing that you had just fled...
About Maroon:
Maroon is surprisingly kind for such a tough looking Tundra. He likes to look sharp, hence the white tuxedo and brown fedora. The white, golden steampunk amour helps to protect him as well as light his path at night. He is a strong and faithful leader, and will serve his clan through many, many, happy years.
Additional info:
• He loves flowers, especially red roses, and enjoys collecting them and placing them carefully in jars marked with various labels.
• He and his familiar, Smokey, are closer than even the dragon friends that know him best. He met Smokey when he was just a hatchling, and the two became bonded for life.
