Biography
Nenalata, the clan leader
Originally from a rather traditional clan, her first charge was destroyed and Nenalata was all too willing to sit around and await her death.
A violet-eyed Imperial stepped out of the nearby tangled wood, at first wondering if she would make an easy target for theft but decided to instead talk to her once he saw how utterly emaciated and in pain she was. Upon learning of her old clans ways he scoffed in disgust, reminded why he had left his own old clan in the first place.
"Well, don't be stupid! If your clans traditions meant that much to any of you, wouldn't you want to stay alive long enough to pass them on?" The Imperial shuffled his feet in an anxious dance as he thought of ways to help this pathetic-looking dragon, despite only a few minutes ago thinking of her nothing more than a target.
"How about...just take me on as your new charge! Im not going to take no as an answer!" For the next few days Nenalata learned that this dragons name was Bug, and that he was a stubborn jerk when provoked. He persistently fought off scavengers and brought her food, and when she refused to eat any of it he would stuff himself in the most obnoxious way possible so as to further tempt her into caring for herself. Bug also educated her in ways that started to unravel the cult-like mentality drilled into her brain by her former clans conservative teachings. Soon she was gorging herself sick on whatever Bug brought to her, until she could move properly again.
The pair didn't seek to found their own clan together at first, but it was an idea that came to them over time as they traveled together and became closer friends.
In the present, Nenalata is very well traveled. She usually takes her best friends Bug and Andromeda with her to explore the world and see what clans in other elemental flights are like, sometimes bringing home some dragons who wanted to be a part of her clan.
During times where Nenalata and Bug are both out, the purple Nocturne named Myrtle acts as a substitute leader to keep everyone in line and to help settle any disputes that might crop up.
