Having most likely been exposed to a plethora of mutagens while still in his egg, Carnage grew six eyes instead of the normal four. And because his extra eyes function the same way as the equally large ones above them, his field of vision is in fact slightly larger than what is usual for Mirrors. This additional advantage combined with his great physique makes him very skilled at finding and catching prey. However, he is also doubly distracted when not on the chase, which makes it difficult for him to sit down and focus on tasks like reading.

Aside from his enhanced vision, Carnage also has a strong immune system and a hardy body. Unfortunately, this comes with the cost of him lacking an adequate sense of self-preservation - he is not the most careful nor the most hygienic dragon in the lair.

Since the Multi-Gaze mutation is known to have been caused by strong elemental energies, which subsequently means that many dragons with it have strong connections to their flights, some have wondered if Carnage's mutation and the overall resilience of his body are somehow connected. He is from The Scarred Wasteland, after all, and quite the ideal survivor of harsh conditions.
