Biography
A spirit of life. She has settled close to the village with her mate, Noctus. They seem quiet but answer easily when spoken to. They show little emotion...I'm not sure if they're actually emotionless or they just struggle to show it. I suppose that's part of their nature, though. Despite their appearance, their actions and the aura that surround them send a clear message. They are not dragons, but something else.
Some notes on Spirits
Bachelors will wander until they find a suitable mate, doing their part to help any uninhabited areas as they pass through. It may seem strange for a creature like her to mate with one that is her opposite, but these pairings are actually very common. The presence of a death spirit helps keep the life cycle of an area in balance, so it's unusual and even detrimental for the same type to pair. Each mated pair has their own territory where they maintain and uphold the natural cycle of life. Territories will never overlap and couples never fight for more. They usually tend to avoid dragons, but some have learned to interact with and even live with them.
Both members of a pair patrol their territory daily. Life spirits grant healing and provide energy to the weak, while death spirits wear at those who have reigned too long and end any suffering. In addition, settled couples will regularly perform a dance together that that simultaneously sows new life and gently takes those that are fading across the whole area.
